Primus XP
Primus XP is a new patented Primus key system that proves to be an effective solution against unauthorized key duplication, key "bumping", and other types of cylinder manipulation. With its inventive design that includes a patent protection until 2024, the new Schlage Primus XP delivers the longest key management protection currently available on the market. Why Primus XP is the one key that does it all
The Primus XP keys cannot be made from old Primus system keys. The keys for the Primus XP key system had added material to the key blanks, as opposed to the traditional method of cutting away more material. This makes unauthorized key duplication virtually impossible.
Primus XP is available in Classic Primus XP and Everest Primus XP keyways, and will match the existing cylinder and lock type offering of the older Primus.
By re-keying 1 finger pin to the new patented number 7 pin, along with an issuance of new keys, the upgrade to Primus XP from an existing Everest Primus or Classic Primus key system is simple.
Schlage's Master Key Department will work with users who would like to upgrade to Primus XP, and issue new side-bit milling combination that will closely match the current side-bit milling combination.
Dealers and end users have the opportunity to purchase their own exclusive side bar millings with different levels of exclusivity: local, zip code, time zone, national.
Primus XP is available in all current Everest full size key ways and Classic full size key ways. This means that Schlage users can still add a layer of security to their system, the same way it was possible with Classic and Everest Primus.
Schlage has an in-field team of Key System Consultants dedicated to developing and implementing effective key control products and systems. The Schlage factory service team includes 440 sales consultants and 23 offices across the country. No other manufacturer offers this kind of support.
Patented protection until 2024 provides protection against unauthorized key duplication and insures protected key management.
Schlage Recognition Systems
Handkey II
The need to identify people is as old as humankind. People recognize each other by sight and sound. However, in today's complex society, it's impossible to personally know everyone and as a consequence, systems rely on recognizing a credential rather than the individual. Our biometric readers recognize people — not credentials. Biometrics is the science of using physical characteristics to identify an individual. They assure that "you are you."
Recognition Systems is the first biometric manufacturer to offer the two most widely used biometric technologies — hand geometry and finger scanning. As a multi-technology company, Recognition Systems is uniquely qualified as a consultant to help our customers apply the right technology to their application.
